Whole Foods versus Local Co-Op

I should include TJ’s in this round-up, but they can’t much count, seeing as how most of their stuff is store-brand. Awesome stuff, but store-brand, nonetheless.

However, there are certain things that can only be found at the local, natural stores, and when it comes down to it, I’ve found that my co-ops beat Whole Foods by 15% steadily–on the same item.

I am fortunate enough to have seven (count them…seven) co-ops in my Cities. If you’ve got a co-op near you, I suggest you check out their offerings…the prices really are amazing. Besides. it’s always nice to keep the money local!
